Chapter and Sorority News Jan 7, 2022 - Friday - YA YA Divas member’s Luncheon. We will be meeting at noon at Scarborough's Restaurant- 497 Old Niskayuna Road, Latham, NY and ordering lunch off the menu with separate checks. The restaurant has a back room right off the main entrance. January 25th - Annual Wretched Access Luncheon at Linnie’s home. Open to Red Hat Ya Ya Divas and Black Hat Diamond Divas. It is a good time to declutter and look through your closets! How it works is each person attending brings at least four items they can live without, in other words no longer want anymore. Items can be clothing or books, home décor, red hat items, black hat items or not. The items should be in good condition and useable. We will have a lottery where each person will draw three numbers each. If there are 15 people attending, there would be 45 numbers put in a hat ranging from 1-45 and each person would pick out three numbers. In numerical order when a person’s number is pulled that the person goes into the display room and chooses one item to take home each time one of their three numbers are called. At the end of the lottery pull, each person can check out the remaining items and choose anything they would like to take home. If there are any excess items, they will be donated to those in need. __________________________________________________________ February 11th Friday - Valentine Dinner at Verdiles, Troy, NY The restaurant opens at 3 PM we will be able to enjoy an early dinner and can be back on the road before 5PM More information will follow. We will order off the menu and receive separate checks. February 19th- Golden Girls at Proctors contact Ade 45.00 per ticket – She might have a few tickets left, if you are interested. March 1 - Mardi Gras - The Ya Ya Divas and Sparkling Scarletts are in process of planning an event for Mardi Gras. More information to follow. March 15th – Save the Date - St Patrick's Show at the Log Cabin in Holyoke, MA - more info to follow. March 27th - Merrier We Roll Along at SLOC - Sunday matinee contact Gayle Carhide for ticket information December 2021 Black Hat Diamond Divas Christmas Party • Lynn Martin hosted a fun and relaxing Christmas Party at her home this month. We all brought our favorite dish to share, and we all had the chance to enjoy an array of yummy food and a lively grab bag steal and had some time to relax in between the holiday rush. Thanks so much Lynn for being our hostess. Black Hat Diamond Divas Updates Due to a very busy November and December and calendar date conflicts, we were not able to plan our Ringing in the New Year event. Hopefully we will be able to celebrate and toast 2022 at one of our upcoming events in the New Year. Linnie 2022 Virginia Funvention, Richmond VA – 8/26-28, 2022 Let's Celebrate! 2022 VA FUNvention!!
